The one-day college wide induction for PhD students new to Queen Mary will be held on Wednesday 7th October in The Octagon. This event is suitable for all PhD students who are in the first year of their PhD and have not attended a college wide induction event.
This morning session aims to introduce new PhD students to all the support and facilities across QMUL including the Library, the Researcher Development Team, Equality and Diversity, Welfare and Support, and QMSU (to name but a few!) The afternoon session will consist of faculty bases sessions on the PhD process. The induction gives new PhD students an oppotunity to meet other students who have enrolled at QMUL at a similar time as them across all three faculties.
Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided!
